Standard Solution August 2025 - Release notes
Released: September 2nd, 2025
The Standard Solution August 2025 release introduces several improvements and a number of fixes.
Trade order validation: check for cash in sub-portfolios of parent portfolio
Why?
Trade order validation checks if the portfolio accounts have enough cash for the buy. Before, the system checked only portfolio’s accounts. Now, if the trade order uses security currency, you can choose to check for cash in the sub-portfolios of the parent portfolio. This allows the order to be accepted even if the specific custody account is short on cash, but other accounts in the same currency have enough cash for the buy.
Who is this for?
Portfolio managers and operations teams who use portfolio-subportfolio structures and apply trade order validation.
Details
A new configuration Check for cash on accounts in security currency in sub-portfolios of parent portfolio option is added under Administer → Compliance settings → Trade order validation.

Daily deferrals for bond positions
Why?
Previously, the FA Platform only supported monthly deferral dates for bond purchase price and accrued interest. This setup was limiting for clients who require daily amortisation of bonds and daily postings for accrued interest. To meet these operational needs, the system now supports daily deferrals, allowing more precise and timely accounting.
Who is this for?
This improvement is for the operations teams and clients who manage bond portfolios.
Details
The deferrals process can now be configured to run daily. To do this, go to Tools → Administer → Bookkeeping. You can also configure to use settlement date as the first deferral date of the position, and set the number of offset days to delay the first deferral after settlement.

Option to exclude transaction fees from bond purchase price deferrals
Why?
Previously, bond purchase price deferrals always included transaction fees. To follow accounting practices where transaction fees are recognized immediately as costs and are not amortized over time, you needed to apply a more complex workaround that involved extracting costs as separate transactions.
Who is this for?
This improvement is for the operations teams and clients who manage bond portfolios.
Details
You can now generate deferrals for bond purchase prices without including transaction fees. To do this, enable a new configuration option in Tools → Administer → Bookkeeping. If the new setting is enabled, it will reduce costs from the purchase value.

Year-specific state income rate in KU reporting
Why?
This improvement ensures accurate KU30 reporting across multiple tax years, especially when generating past reports. Previously, the state income rate setting had only one value, applied to all reports and updated every year. Now, the state income rates are stored per year, making it easier to generate reports with correct values based on the report year.
Who is this for?
This is for the users who generate yearly tax reports for Sweden.
Details
Before generating the KU reports, you can check the state income rate value in the report generation window. The value is based on the year you entered.

Bookkeeping postings are now correctly updated, if transaction is modified via Transaction/trade order creation.
External reporting

Added the missing Security type Entitlements (R) to the SEB custody report, ensuring it is now included and not omitted.
Reporting
Fixed an issue in the Reconciliation - Accounts report. It now includes transactions and trade orders based on their the Payment date, if it exists, instead of previously always on the Settlement date.
