Other corporate actions

If you need to run a corporate action that is missing in the corporate action menu – for example, acquisition, liquidation, odd lot buyback, or scheme of arrangement – you can do this by using the "Other" option and, if needed, combining it with Exchange to get the correct result.

In general, you can process these corporate actions in one or two steps:

  1. Running a corporate action with the "Other" option (NewCorporate actionOther). This lets you run a corporate action that:

    • Involves one security.

    • (Optionally) distributes certain amount per share.

    • (Optionally) reduces the position amount.

    Using the "Other" option has a restriction: it can be run only if shareholders participate in the corporate action with all shares of the position they own.

  2. (Optional) Running Exchange corporate action if the shareholders should receive new shares. For example, in case of tender offers.
