Export transactions in import format
You can export transactions from FA to import them back to the same or another FA instance. Transactions are exported in a standard Transactions (Export) report, generated as an Excel or CSV. The generated file can be imported back to FA without making any changes to the columns.
Tip
If you need to modify a set of transactions, you can export them, modify them in Excel and then import them back again. As long as you don't modify references or external IDs, the data in FA is overwritten with the import data.
To generate the Transactions (Export) report, use the instructions in Generate reports for portfolios. Make sure you select XLS, XSLX or CSV as File format. Other types can't be used for importing.
