File formats for importing contact and portfolio memos
Contact and portfolio memos are imported into the FA system in TXT files with the Contact or Portfolio ID as the file name (Examples: contactID.txt, portfolioID.txt). The system needs the ID to identify the correct contact or portfolio for the memo. You can:
Import a single memo for a contact or portfolio as a TXT file.
Import multiple memos for different contacts or portfolios: create a separate TXT file for each memo and compress them into a ZIP file before importing. Note that the ZIP file can only contain memos for contacts or portfolios but not both simultaneously.
You can view the memo in the Memo tab of the Contact or Portfolio window.
