Standard Solution August 2024 - Release notes

Released: August 30th, 2024

The Standard Solution August 2024 release introduces many smaller improvements and fixes.

Other improvements

Portfolio management

  • The transaction type "PE - Return of capital" was updated to use "reduce" for both tax and cost effects. This adjustment accommodates scenarios where the target fund pays tax on the income it receives, making a "reduce" adjustment necessary for accuracy.

Market data connector

  • Securities imported from Bloomberg and other market data providers, identified by ISINs or tickers that may change over time, are now properly updated even if their security codes changed. Previously, if a security code changed, the general importer attempted to create a new security instead of updating the existing one. Importing security data from an external feed now correctly updates the security code before importing the rest of the data.

Reporting

  • The "Positions by purchase lot" report was updated to include the lot number.

Tax reporting

  • Income statement for interest income (KU20) was updated to have the option to populate field 503 ("Ränteinkomst, ej konto").

Utilities

  • Scheduling manager now supports exporting scheduled runs and includes validation to prevent you from scheduling two runs simultaneously. For more information, see Scheduling in FA User guide.

Fixes

Market data connector

  • Fixed an issue with multipliers for bond securities created through the Bloomberg integration. The mapping was updated so that multiplier 1 is used if CT_PAR_QUOTED = N. Otherwise, the bond security is created with a multiplier of 100.

  • When creating a security from an external source while simultaneously fetching price history, the system now only retrieves prices for Close fields with both an update code and a configured price source provider defined.

Fee management

  • Administering fee calculations for management and performance fees now has an account tag option, so you can specify which account should be used for the created fee transactions.

Trade order management

  • Bulk trade order execution now retains the cost category from the bulk order in the client orders. Previously, the cost category was reset in newly created transactions when using the "Distribute costs from the bulk order to client orders" setting.

Portfolio management

  • When running the mark-to-market process for futures, potential fee amounts are no longer included in the market values of future positions.

Trading connector

  • Some trading connectors such as Interactive Brokers require the booked quantity to be specified as units of the instrument face value instead of the total investment face value. The trading connector now supports sending bond orders with the quantity expressed as the number of lot sizes with the "QuantityMultiplier" parameter.

Standard Solution

  • Fixed an issue where FA Standard Solution failed to export user groups.

FA Front

  • Fixed an issue with buying, selling, and switching that prevented trade orders from being created due to a missing security market price.

  • Fixed an issue with buying, selling, and switching that prevented trade orders with multipliers from being created.
