Monitor error logs and send them via email
You can monitor system logs for errors related to, for example, connections. You can save the monitored log entries in FA Back in the Tasks view or have the entries sent to you via email.
Save or send monitored error log entries
To set up how monitored error logs are saved, do the following:
In FA Back, go to Tools → Administer → Log monitoring.
Fill in the fields:
Save result into Tasks - use the checkbox to see monitored error log entries in Tasks view.
E-mail addresses (comma-separated) - enter one or more emails, separated by a comma, to receive monitored error log entries via email.
Click Done.
View monitored log entries in the Tasks view
To view monitored error log entries in the Tasks view in FA Back, search for tasks with the title "Query Audited system error results". You can see errors that the system saved on the day of the log monitoring run.
Note
Log monitoring is scheduled to run at 23:59 every day
