Direct authentication

With direct authentication, users enter FA with their username and password from the login page. If the user enters correct credentials and has a role that grants access to the app, they are allowed to access the system with the role(s) and permissions defined for the user.

Direct authentication doesn’t require any setup as it is applied for all active users by default.
