Standard Solution December 2024 - Release notes
Released: January 2nd, 2025
The Standard Solution December 2024 release introduces a new integration with Stamdata, as well as smaller improvements and fixes.
Import of indices and index prices from Stamdata
Why?
This feature was implemented because previously, there was no way to create index securities or retrieve index prices from Stamdata/Nordic Bond Pricing.
Who is this for?
This is for anyone who needs to create index securities or access index prices from Stamdata/Nordic Bond Pricing.
Details
We integrated FA Platform with a new endpoint at Stamdata/Nordic Bond Pricing that allows FA Platform to create index securities and retrieve index prices, alongside bond data. The process is similar to other market data connectors: you need to have an update code, and if it exists on the security/reference instrument, you can retrieve the index prices either through the nightly price updates or by making an ad-hoc request from the Market data info tab in the Security window. In addition to retrieving prices, you can also create the index security.

Other improvements
Compliance
For clarity, efficiency, and ease of use, we restricted access to the Never-have rules tab in the Portfolio window: now it is shown to the users who can validate trade orders and have a role with ROLE_TOM_VAL right. Also, we restricted access to the Monthly savings tab in the Portfolio window: now it is shown to the users who generate and configure monthly savings and have a role with the ROLE_PAY_MS right.
External reporting
The SIRA report now includes an additional configuration option to specify which interest payments should be reported under code 72 (Remaining Assets). Previously, all interest payments, whether linked to securities (for example, bond interest) or unrelated (for example, account interest), were reported under code 71 (Securities-Based Assets). This new configuration allows for the separation of interest payments between codes 71 and 72.
In PEF reporting, the ISIN is now considered as the internalIdentificationCode if it exists on the security when reporting liabilities (outstanding units).
Trade order management
When using the “Skip fee calculation, use precalculated fees if any” option, costs from the underlying orders are now aggregated and populated into the Internal info field of the bulk order. Cost1 and Cost2 are displayed as UnderlyingCost1=X;UnderlyingCost2=Y; on the bulk order. This lets you access the cost information directly from the bulk order rather than retrieving it from each underlying order.
Fixes
Market data connector
For the Morningstar OnDemand integration, when selecting multiple securities and running the process, if a security is not found in Morningstar, the process no longer stops. Instead, data is updated for the remaining securities.
Trade order management
The issue with missing semicolons in bulk order internal info when additional int info-based grouping factors are added, causing potential conflicts with certain decision tables, has been resolved.
Payments
The Extract costs process now automatically triggers portfolio recalculation after it runs. Previously, this caused issues in reflecting the effects on the cash account, requiring manual recalculation of the portfolio.
External reporting
The SIRA configuration profile for security is no longer limited to specific security types. You can classify all security types.
Tax reporting
Transaction tags are now recognized when using the FIFO-Combined setting on a parent Portfolio. Previously, they were overlooked, causing the process to exclude tagged transactions.
