Standard Solution November 2024 - Release notes
Released: December 2nd, 2024
The Standard Solution November 2024 release introduces many smaller improvements and fixes.
Other improvements
Corporate Actions
We added a new transaction type "Fund exchange realized accrual (FUNEXCH)" which is used to support booking exchanges between share classes while considering income distribution correctly. This transaction type allows you to realize accrual of the old position and simultaneously receive accrual in the new fund in an exchange.
Portfolio management
We recently introduced new settings for FX Spot contracts in FA Back Preference (create forward cashflows). If you modify these settings, they are no longer overwritten by FA Standard Solution upgrades.
Fixes
Market data connector
To prevent import errors, we added null handling to the mapping (update.bloomberg.D) for updating Moody's bond information from Bloomberg.
Trade order management
The switch order process now runs rules only once per leg (redemption and subscription). Previously, the rules were executed twice for the redemption leg which could result in concurrency issues.
Settlements
We fixed an issue in settlement batch messages where the ANTOT (Absolute Net Total) and APTOT (Absolute Par Value) fields displayed incorrect values for very large amounts.
External reporting
The SIRA report no longer triggers an error when the instrument classification code 4 (loan) is selected.
The reporting process no longer generates an incorrect file extension (.csv.CSV) when configured to produce a CSV file, not the XML format.
Tax reporting
We fixed an issue in Norwegian tax reporting where "inngangsverdi" was incorrectly reported when an exchange transaction occurs and the security currency differs from the portfolio currency.
In the Norwegian tax report Verdipapirfond, accrual/bought interest now accurately reflects the exchange/merge transaction ratios in the history file.
Payments
Implemented null handling for cases where an autogiro mandate reference was previously processed for an account that no longer exists in the system. We added a new message in the excluded accounts XLSX file to indicate when this scenario occurs. This ensures that the autogiro mandate file generation continues smoothly, even in rare cases of deleted accounts associated with processed mandate references.
