Services

Overview

FA provides various services to clients. Services need to be separately requested and agreed upon with FA and services are invoiced based on time and material. The first step in the service request process is to agree on the scope and delivery timelines together with FA. Available services are described below. The table below describes optional (o=optional) services for each plan size.

Data migration

Clients can acquire data migration as an optional service from FA or a recommended third party. If FA is doing the data migration, the client needs to provide the following information for FA to estimate the required effort:

  • Amount of data that needs to be migrated in CSV or XLSX format

  • Number of clients

  • Number of portfolios

  • Number of transactions

  • Number of securities

  • Security types that the client operates with

  • Start date from which transactions need to be migrated

  • Contact person for data-related queries

After FA receives the data and related details, we will organize review sessions with the client and provide an initial estimate of the effort and schedule. The migration work is done based on time and material.

Customization

The FA platform provides flexibility for customizations. Customization options depend on the plan size that the client has selected. A list of customization options for different plans is available in Plans. For detailed descriptions of different customization options, see Customizability.

Training

FA provides various materials for clients to learn about the features and solutions we offer:

  • Helpdesk - FA product features and client-specific documentation

  • FA Documentation

    • General documentation and FA standard business solutions

    • Developer Guide - developer-oriented instructions

  • Developer documentation - developer-oriented instructions

Training focuses on the general features of the FA Platform. If the client needs training sessions and would like to have an FA consultant running the sessions, we can deliver this as a service. In such a case, the client should inform FA about the subject of the training. The consultant will then prepare, schedule, and run the training as requested.

By default, FA organizes the training online. We can also provide training on client premises if needed. In this case, the client is invoiced for the resulting time and travel expenses.

Workshop

Workshops focus on client-specific business needs and workflows. Workshops can be arranged upon request.

The client needs to inform FA about the topic and background of the business workflow or issue that the workshop is meant to cover. An FA consultant will then prepare for the topic and arrange the workshop. After the workshop, FA will summarize the outcome of the meeting for the client.

By default, FA runs workshops online. We can also provide workshops on client premises if needed. In this case, the client is invoiced for the resulting time and travel expenses.

Other consultation

If the client needs consultation, they should reach out to FA. We will then evaluate if an FA consultant or an FA partner could provide the requested consultation.
