Standard Solution September 2024 - Release notes
Released: October 2nd, 2024
The Standard Solution September 2024 release introduces many smaller improvements and fixes.
Other improvements
Tax reporting
We improved the performance of Norwegian tax reporting so it runs significantly faster. There is now also an option to run the reports in the background, and we made the user task title more descriptive in the task list: “<reportType> report generated <timestamp>”.
We improved Norwegian international tax reporting so that "Birth date" is now picked up from the FATCA profile and type from the FATCA profile is used as the primary type definition. If the type does not exist, the system uses the old logic to determine the contact type. We also added a new "None" option for the "Account holder" type in FATCA.
The Norwegian tax report for Verdipapirfond now utilizes the trade time field from the transaction. If the trade time is available, it is included in the XML report.
External reporting
Added support for running multiple scheduled processes with different configurations which allows you to send the report to a different party with a separate reporting frequency. Until now, this was not possible because different configuration sets shared the same "Previous reporting date".
Payments
Outgoing payments now support overriding the service level field in the XML. Some banks require the service level field to be set to "NURG" for foreign account transfers, and this can now be achieved by specifying ServiceLevel=NURG in the internal info field of the transaction.
Fixes
Market data connector
Fixed an issue in Bloomberg bond mapping used for creating new securities from Bloomberg. The issue caused stub convention for bonds to be assigned incorrectly in certain scenarios.
Settlements
Fixed an issue with settlement messages sometimes being sent with too many decimals in the trade amount.
External reporting
Fixed an issue in SIRA/PEF reporting so that "Interest income" is now positive and "Profit distribution" is negative as required by the Bank of Finland.
Portfolio management
"Exercise call" and "Exercise put" transaction types for options are now linked to equity, bond and entitlements (rights) security types instead of being linked to options. These transaction types are used against the underlying security of the option instead of the option itself.
Fixed an issue in the mark-to-market process that prevented a second run from taking place on a given date for a portfolio if it involved a different set of securities than the first run.
Payments
Fixed an issue in the investment plan editor profile for FA Front so that the system now correctly saves data to the monthly savings profile.
Utilities
Fixed an issue in user count monitoring which didn't function correctly with the latest Keycloak version.
