Audit search view
The Audit search view allows you to access audit logs that track user activity and system events (such as report data and market price updates) in FA apps. You can view the list of logged events in FA audit logs.
Filters
The Filters view allows you to search by choosing:
- Date and time
The beginning and the end date and time of the log period.
- User
User ID.
- Application
FA application to view the logs for. A dash "-" stands for the user logout from FA.
- Target ID
The database ID of the object for which you want to view the logs, for example, portfolio or transaction. You can find the database ID in the relevant FA Back view. For example, the portfolio database ID is shown in the ID column in the Portfolios view. For details about Target IDs, see ???.
Audit search results
Audit search results show the log entries that match the filters you set. To narrow the search criteria, click the filter icon . To choose and rearrange the table columns you want to view, click .
The columns are:
- Log time
The date and time of the user action.
- Log level
The log levels to view: "info", "warn" or "error".
- Message
Log message describing the user action.
- Application
FA app where the action was performed.
- Action
The type of action performed by the user, such as login in, creating a portfolio, generating a report, or calculating NAV.
- User name
User ID.
- Target type
The type of object the user viewed, modified, or created – for example, portfolio or transaction.
- Target ID
The ID of the object the user viewed, modified, or created – for example, portfolio ID or transaction ID.
- Component
The system component where the action was performed.
- Screen
The application view where the action was performed.
- Source
The log table where the action was recorded. Audit user log records user actions. Audit system log records system operations. For details, see Track what customer information has been viewed or exported in FA Back reference.
- Attachment
Attachment with the log details.
- Event ID
Reference of the event that generated the log.
- Remote address
User's IP address.
- ID
Database ID of the log entry.
