Sections - Processes, Actions, Reports, Queries, Widgets, Profiles, Formulas, etc.

Within the FA AppStore, you can manage the processes, action, reports, queries, widgets, profiles, formulas or other extensions available for your FA. The extensions are divided under tabs, and under each tab you can find a variety of FA's standard extensions, identified with the FA logo, along with customizations build for you

The extensions within each tab are grouped under appropriate heading to allow you to search for extensions more easily. Each extension is accompanied with a short description, providing you with an overview of what the extension consists of.

Most of FA's standard extensions are free of charge - however, some extensions are complementary to certain modules, and some extensions require you to contact FA for starting to use the extension. Refer to the descriptions of the groups and extensions for more details.

Managing extensions

Use the following features to manage your extensions within the FA AppStore.

Changes to extensions are audited - user audit tracks changes users make to extensions or their configurations through FA AppStore. Every time a user installs something from FA AppStore, user audit contains a message ”User [username] installed/upgraded/uninstalled extension [name] [version]”, and every time a user makes a change to configurations of an installed process, user audit contains a message ”User [username] added/modified/deleted configurations of process [id]”. (Available from FA 3.9 onward)

Change log

Click the Changelog to review what has been changed for this extension for each version of the extension. Changelog provides you with the change and version history of the specific extension.

FA AppStore also supports installing the latest compatible version of an extension. Each extension tracks which FA version it requires, and both the Install latest and Update buttons install the latest compatible version, preventing you from accidentally updating to a non-supported version.

Update

We at FA are constantly improving our extensions: when an extension update is available, you will see an Update available notification in FA AppStore. If you wish to update the extension to the latest version, just click Update to install the latest version of the extension.

Note

Before installing an update to an extension, review the change log for important information and prerequisites related to the latest version of the extension.

Install / Uninstall

Managing the extensions available for you or already installed for your use is easy with a click of a button. When you find something relevant, click Install to install the extension - refer to the description of the extension for more details about installing the extension.

Whether you can install extensions is controlled with a permission as well as with the modules you have in use - contact FA for more details if Install button is disabled for an extension you are interested in. If you have extensions installed that you don't any more use or need, click Uninstall to uninstall the extension from your FA.

Note

Depending on the extension, you might not be able to re-install it.

Install version

FA admins can install any version on demand. Ask for more information from FA.
